Re: 4.1.2??
Hell, at this point I'd be happy to get the "Premium Suite" update that it seems like everyone has but us. AT&T and the rest of these carriers are ludicrously slow about these updates and I don't understand why.

Re: 4.1.2??
The carrier attitude is that since you call the carrier for help with the device("how do I do this, how do I do that", "I don't have the use of my fingers, so how can I make a phone call?" along with other things) they need to know about the differences and how to do things with the new version, so training and extra QA time are needed. The reality is that manufacturers other than Apple don't provide good support for end users, so carriers end up with that job, and end up having more control than they should when it comes to OS updates.

I gotta try that that multi window thing on my kid's N2. I'm thinking I could make good use of it. If it's really all that, poor kid's gonna miss his N2...

Re: 4.1.2??
As of this point, might as well just wait for the Galaxy S4 cuz the S3 won't see updates for a while thanks to AT&T

Re: 4.1.2??
Updates, updates. I have no one to blame but myself. When i had a choice between the SGSIII, and the Nexus4, i chose the Sammy. It was a money thing. I do love my Sammy, but the 4G LTE is not that big of a deal, and 16gbs space is all that i really need. Some of the other "special" features of my phone, i don't use, and they are disabled. The customizations would be the same, but the stock updates…well that's another story. I don't like Kies, and the only way to see the extSD card on my Mac, is to use AirDroid. Rooting is a non issue, as it would be a pain in the **** with either phone, unless i split my hard drive. I've had the SGSIII for about a year, but if i knew then what i know now, i would have gotten the Nexus4. That $350.00 price tag scared me, but not again. If the Nexus5 comes out within the next 6 to 8 months, it's Ebay time for Sammy, and hello to Nexy. Just my personal opinion, folks.

Re: 4.1.2??
By the time that i get the update to 4.1.2, the SGSIV will be six months old. That's bs. If i have to wait, it will be for the Nexus5.

Re: 4.1.2??
I don't see what the problem is getting 4.1.2 at this time. The latest update was released days ago and you should be able to download it from your phone without any problem. Have you checked Samsung updates in your settings? If you're still on 4.1.1, there's actually 2 updates available; MA6 and MB1. So one will be updated then the other.

Re: 4.1.2??
I upgraded to 4.1.2 today on my Stellar. It seems to be running smoother than when it was on ICS.

Re: 4.1.2??
I'm not surprised. You know, by the time that i disable all the AT&T and Samsung bloatware, my phone becomes a stripped down version of a Nexus4, only i do have 4G LTE. Big deal. I'd give up the 4G LTE to get quicker upgrades, and a better connection to my computer(Kies sucks). I'm counting the days until the Nexus5 is unveiled.

Re: 4.1.2??
Where is the update? It would be nice before the GS4 is released. Can't wait for Thursday.
