My wife and I both have S3's from AT&T. We both started getting the software update this morning. Our phones work just fine with ICS. Any way to stop getting the update notification? I have looked and can't seem to find a way to stop the notification from popping up every hour.
I'm pretty sure you can't. I feel the same way, but actually, jelly bean is pretty nice, My phone seems faster. Google talk is better. I'd say just do the upgrade.
We both went ahead and updated. Glad I did. I like JB. Only complaint I have is the well-known problem with WidgetLocker. I used the work around that is discussed in another thread but now my home button won't take me home from another screen.
