ATT Galaxy S3 is getting the 4.1.2 update today

I am getting it on LTE here in Chicago

Man, wish I could have done that instead. It forced me to WiFi... Oh well, just killed almost an hour waiting for it to download via my work's near dial-up network. =P

Getting mine right now. I'm a little concerned that it is just 4.1.2. Concerned in that at&t may feel like this is the last update they need to bother with on the s3. At least it will bring multi Window and it seems that most of the Sammy-verse is holding at 4.1.2.

Gainesville FL by the way.

I'm still running 4.0.4 ICS - I747UCLH9 .... and have had 0 problems and/or issues since purchasing my S3 almost a year ago.

Even though AT&T tried to continually force JB 4.1 onto my phone, last December or Jan., (I kept clearing it out of my drop-down area, and then each time went into the App Manager and clicked on: 'Stop' & 'Uninstall')... I never let it update.

So I thought I'd wait for 4.2. But is the AT&T S3 ever going to get 4.2 ?

I got through 71% of the download, dropped Wi-Fi, had to start over, and now it won't resume. Are AT&T's servers really going make me wait another 48 hours?

Change the Date And Time like Date Aug 2, 2013 should let you get the update again.

Nifty, the camera app was changed. Sadly no more burst mode. They merged it with the single shot by pressing and holding the camera button though.

Nifty, the camera app was changed. Sadly no more burst mode, but to make those who use it feel better you now just have to press and hold the camera button.

Can be Turn Off in Camera Settings if that makes a difference!

When I check for updates I get a message that says:
" A new software update from AT&T is available for your device. This update will occur over Wi-Fi. Please make sure that you stay within the Wi-Fi coverage area while the download takes place. This could take several minutes."

After selecting continue a few seconds later a message says:
"A new update for you device may be availabe. Your device will automatically check for an update within the next 48 hours."

Is AT&T's server too busy?

That might be the case. I adjusted my time and date forward like us original Galaxy-S Captivate owners had to years ago and mine is hung up on "checking for updates"
