Currently have a Galaxy S3 with firmware from Movistar. I want to change it to the AT&T firmware.
    What is the process? Thanks

So you are running a custom ROM?

No, it is a stock ROM from Claro of Puerto Rico.
I want to change it to AT&T Rom

Is there a program that can replace the stock ROM with the AT&T ROM? I have the firmware, just need the program

Sure, just search for Odin (an application for Windows-based computers). You can use that to load any firmware to your phone - just don't blame us if your phone is only usable as a paperweight after you flash an unsupported ROM.

Edit: if it boots at all, be sure to boot into Recovery mode and clear the cache and perform a Factory Reset before attempting to setup the phone.

    Thanks,
How will I know if the Rom is supported or not?

Is Claro (or Movistar) a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) using AT&T infrastructure? If so then you may be able to safely load the firmware that you found.

You never did say what model and firmware you currently have, or why you want to load the AT&T firmware.

Frankly, people in your region would be the best resource - I've never heard of the provider that you have, and wouldn't want to steer you wrong.

All I can tell you is that Odin will allow you to load any firmware that you want - that doesn't mean that your phone will work when you're done. This isn't something to be taken lightly, or to 'fool around with'.

The reason is because I like the AT&T layout (not sure what you call it) better. The way the icons, background, apps and all the comes with a stock AT&T phone. The Claro Galaxy has a different layout.
Is there a different way to do this?

Flashing the firmware of a different model can potentially brick your phone, unless you bought it from AT&T in the U.S. I'd advise against it

    ditto

there are several variants of the S3, the European version with a quad core processor, and the US version with a dual core. In the US version there are differences in the antenna which is carrier dependent.
I know for a fact that flashing a Euro with a US firmware will brick it and vice versa because among other things, the processor is different.

DO NOT flash your phone with another carriers firmware. If you want a different look, head over to XDA and see if you can find a firmware for YOUR phone that has been modded.

That is the North America version (Telus, Rogers & Bell) - you can find the firmware here - just mouse-over the region codes to find your carrier.

Then use Odin (just Google it - look for v3.07) to reload the firmware. You can find instructions on how to use Odin in any of the rooting sub-forums or online.

I guess we're not being clear enough - none of them are the AT&T firmware because that model number is NOT an AT&T phone! DO NOT LOAD THE AT&T FIRMWARE ON YOUR PHONE! Can I possibly be any clearer?

If it's the look and layout you want to change just install a launcher like Nova or Apex. Then you can make it look like whatever you want without bricking the phone. Just sayin'...
