Cannot find text message drafts

I do not have "drafts" listed in my message settings. If I get interrupted before sending a text message and the phone screen locks, the text is gone when I unlock the phone.
anyone have the same issue or any suggestion on where the drafts might be?

only folder I can find is /sdcard/.data/message and the item in it is pref_key_personalize_bg and if i click on it it has a triangle with an exclamation mark in it.

Are you talking about AT&T message app or the stock message app? In the stock app if I click the menu icon I have an option for drafts. In addition on the list of people I have received messages from, it will say "draft" for the person I was in the middle of writing to.

I'm using the stock message app and "drafts" is not listed in the menu or in the list of people I have messages to/from.

I found the problem. Apparently checking the box to "delete old messages" also deletes messages in process if the phone screen times out and locks. Once I unchecked that option the drafts appear is the list of people I have messages to & from. Drafts still does not appear in the menu though.

Hi I have a note..have deleted a mesage. .its gone to drafts.
How do I find drafts? To recover text

Having that same problem. Cant find out where my drafts setting is..
