    Default New App Market

Anyone else put the new App Market update on their phone yet? I just installed the apk. file on my phone. So far its ok, definitely different. I need more time to mess around with it but what are your thoughts of it if you have installed it?

I think the default screen is way to busy.

I find it a little too flashy, but I have had only a couple of issues with it. One, sometimes it alerts to an update before it is even available and two, it hasn't been displaying screenshots properly. I get a black screen and have to tap on it to make it display.

I find it works great. Took a little to get used to, but i like the organiztation of it. I also like the editors and staff picks for the application. yea, i know i will probably never download most of them, but they are intersting to see what is being recommended.

Well, it's still not a final release. A simple reboot fixed the screenshot issue. The early update notification is still odd. I'm sure that will get worked out. I do like the way new releases has been split between new paid and new free.

Several different sources, here's the one I used.

Sorry, it was over the 2MB attachment size limit.(2.93)

Of course, if you are one of the unlucky few who has yet to get the unknown sources push, you'll have to go through SWM.

If you are rooted, it is restricted. If not, when in the app, hit help and go to the video section. There will be a link within there where you can install it. It is possible that it still might not be available yet, since it hasn't been officially released. Otherwise, there is an apk file in the wild that you can download. Sorry, I'm in my phone, so I can't link it.

My wife just got real ota update from att today.

because I loaded mine from the wild I had to uninstall the vending update and then reinstall it. Now all my downloaded apps appear. No worries.

Since it's going out OTA I'll just wait.

*opens up Market, goes back to home screen to wait.*

I just got the update as well, thought I should let you all know.

I don't have the books and videos section as of yet, though.

Edit:I have the books section, not the videos section. They said that the Videos app isn't compatible with my Inspire..
