Trouble w/Bluetooth Connection

When I paired the Inspire 4G to the bluetooth in 2011 Regal, the phone pairs up just fine, but even though the car asks permission to access the phone's phone book, and I check the OK box, when done the phone is paired with car, but phone book is empty.
Anyone have any ideas on this one? The last phone i had was no problem, immediate link and access to phone's address book.
