My girlfriend got her Inspire 4G about a month or two ago, and she tells me she's been having this issue where the screen won't turn on right away after hitting the power button. Sometimes it may take a few minutes while other times it won't power on at all. Pulling the battery hasn't solved anything, neither does running it solely on the power cable. To make matters worse, she recently dropped the phone and so now the screen is cracked. So I'm afraid she won't be able to take it back to the store to have it swapped because they might attribute the problem to the fact that she dropped it.
Has anyone had this issue? If so, any ideas on how to fix it? Or would it still be possible for her to take it back and get a new one? I'm sure I can fix the cracked screen no problem, just need to buy a replacement digitizer and swap it out, am I right? Thanks
