Under Accounts and Sync I have Background Data checked, I also have Auto Sync checked.

For some reason though my phone lags, so it will take like 5-10 minutes for me to get an e-mail on Gmail and I never get them right away. Same with Google Plus, and same with Google to Phone. I never get notified right away when I receive ANYTHING Google on my phone.

Is there a reason this happens? It seems going into Accounts and Sync and manually syncing Google makes me get the Notifications the moment. So is there a way to Sync every 5 minutes or whats the Deal?

Were pribobly not getting sense 3.0 and if I'm not mistaken you can set sync intervals it could be a simple bug this is interesting Thor there is one thing you can try back up everything on your phone and do a full wipe data factory reset there's SMS and phone number back up apps that will make a file on your SD card so no lost text messeges or contacts its just a suggestion did it start this after the Ginger bread update??
