Upgrade to newer version of HTC Sense?

I saw from a different thread that some people managed to update their version of HTC Sense. How can I do this?

I have Android 2.3.3 and HTC Sense version 2.1.

I read somewhere or devices weren't getting it. That our devices aren't required for it. It would be so move if what I read was NOT true, & we could actually get the update. But not holding my breath.....

Root your inspire and load a Rom. I'm running 2.3.5 with sense 3.5 from the Rom I'm running.

are you running android revolution hd? I was using it, but it's lack of Bluetooth voice dial is a deal breaker for me. The after market apps don't work as well as the HTC voice dialer.

Yea its out there but I'm not wanting to do it bc I don't wanna loose root ae it has enhanced security funtions ajd otas are notoious for killing rootbacess
