I was finally able to get a screen shot of my home screen
I did not have to root anything. I installed the android sdk and also htc sync (for the usb drivers)
I had to start the sdk and then run C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk-windows\tools\ddms.bat

Took me a while... but I followed this instruction set... un-rooted phone.
But I cannot stress this enough... FOLLOW EVERY SINGLE STEP!!!!!!! (took me a while because I wasn't being thorough.)

this is currently the easiest way to root. I did it the manual way, before that came out, and considering I'm not the brighest when it comes to stuff like that, I didn't any problems at all. As long as you follow the steps exactly as they're posted, you won't have any problems.

And here are my screens...
Since then, I've flashed a stock/rooted ROM, so the only things that are different are the signal indicator (5 bars instead of 4) and the weather was switched to F instead of C (this was the Desire HD European ROM I believe) haha. I would die with it being THAT cold!

OK. Pretty mad to have to install so much stuff to get a screenshot!
Here's my lock screen, courtesy of WidgetLocker; quick slider-access to camera, camcorder, phone and my wife, and instant view of unread mail and Google Voice counts, as well as date/time, weather and battery percentage:
App folders within folders, courtesy of Folder Organizer:
System Panel doing it's tracking-what's-happening stuff:
There's some more pictures over on my website, too

I just wanted to share my Launcher7 interface. It is a nice app. I prefer ADW Launcher but if someone was interested in getting a W7 Phone then this is a near perfect mimic (except for the metroUI app interfaces). It even has the fly in/out transitions.

A few updated screenshots of my phone
New power notication MOD - replaces the exisiting "recent apps" bar.
...and with said power notification MOD, you can also pull down the app drawer. Thought this was a pretty cool addition
And this is my new, somewhat boring, uncluttered home screen. Note: anybody who is sick of the boring stock messaging app should def. check out Go SMS. I've tried Handcent, Chomp, and even tho those have more options, I find Go SMS has a little more eye candy than those.
My current settings theme/settings for Go SMS - I like it cos I feel like it matches my wallpaper
As always, let me know if you guys have any questions!
