Sorry to ask this question but I'm new to Android & I can't find info in the Desire HD users manual. I know how to copy files to the SD card, but not where to copy files.

Question: Do I just create a folder on the SD card named Music & copy my music there, doing the same for videos or what? How & where do I put my mulitmedia files?

I sure hope its not using HTC Sync. It does absolutely nothing, does not recognize my Inspire – it just sits there saying no device connected.

Wow! HTC Sync is working just fine for me. I downloaded it after I read your post. Working JUST fine for me right now. Syncing all of my music!

sdcardroot\media\audio\music

for ringtones...
sdcardroot\media\audio\ringtones

and for notification tones...
sdcardroot\media\audio\notifications

How about where to put mp4 video files?

HTC Sync does absolutly nothing on my PC. Just sits there.
