Notification Light

I just purchased the Inspire about 1 week ago and am having some problems with the notification light. In most cases whenever I get an email, text, missed call, etc. the light flashes normally for about 10 minutes and then goes off. In a few cases the light goes on forever until I read whatever the message is. Is there a time limit to how long the light flashes? I have checked the settings for the light. The phone is almost always in idle mode (just blank screen) whenever this happens.

I've had issues with the notification light as well. Sometimes it seems like the light works normally, and sometimes it will only flash like once every 30 or so seconds, almost random. if i have the phone screen on it flashes with consistency, its when the phone is asleep or the screen is off that it acts weird. I have just gotten to where i dont depend on the notification light, its hard to see anyway.
