Short vibrates?

My phone has a random short vibrate when its starting up (after the long initial one) and when im making a phone call. I just wanted to know if this is a normal occurance.

Yes, that is completely normal and it's just a part of the Sense skin. If you want to disable the vibration, from your Home screen, select -> Menu, select -> Settings, select -> Sound. Then, under the General section, un-check -> Vibrate (the underlying description will be "Vibration feedback for calls and notifications"). This will make the vibration notification stop. Personally, I like having the notification just so I know that the call is actually going through.
