Deleting Contacts Permanently!!! Start Fresh...

My phone is a complete mess with my People contacts! I have duplicates and even some Triple-cates if that word even exists lol

Bottom line, is there any way possible to COMPLETELY start fresh. I'm willing to lose all contacts (keep the one's i really need and write them on a piece of paper) and start ALL over! Funny thing is, i'm able to delete some and some I cant.

I cant stand having my phone list all un-organized!

Please help!

If you're using Google as your primary address book, you can just fix and merge your contacts from your desktop, and the phone will sync your changes OTA.

Uncheck your sync options for HTC. That will clear any backup stored online with them. Then go into your contacts, view only the phone stored contacts, delete all. Now turn your HTC sense syncing back on to re-save all your apps, settings, etc. Now you should only have your gmail stored contacts on the phone.
