I just got a replacement HTC Inspire 4G, and it will not mount to my Macbook as a disk drive.
My original one mounted just fine every time, but for some reason this one does not. It does not even give me the option to mount as a disk drive.
Any help or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

did you turn on usb debugging?

settings-> applications->development and make sure the box is checked for usb debugging.

When you plug it in does it acknowledge its connected to a computer?

USB Debugging is on.
When I plug it into my computer, it gives me the option to Charge Only, HTC Sync, USB Tethering, and Internet Pass-Through, but it does not give me the option to connect as a Disk Drive, which it had the option to on my previous Inspire.

hmmm is it reading the card properly? like does the device detect the card?

if it is not even showing up as an option i would probably try and do a wipe and reformat the memory.

if you select charge only then unlock the device and pull down the notification bar do you see the like mount symbol or any option in there?
