Gingerbread Update Question

Hi,
Nooobie questions but when ATT allows the Gingerbread update how does it come? Is it a stealth thing like the side load update or do we install it?

When we do get it, it'll be like the HSUPA update. We will get it by checking the HTC WiFi update under ATT software update, or we will be notified when the update gets pushed to our phones. Whichever comes first. It won't be a stealth update like they did with this sideloading feature-enabling update.

Just if you guys are wondering, the gingerbread update probably won't come for at least another month. If your impatient you can always root and get the update early like i did
