Htc Inspire sideload update!!!!
Hello everyone. My name is Alan. I have great news if you guys want the sideload update from ATT and didn't get it. It's very simple. Call ATT (611) and ask to speak to someone in the PMC dept. When connected to them ask them to send you the sideload update from the Xdm link. They will send it while u r on the phone. Then go to the menu- settings-applications and put a check next to unknown sources and then u r ready to sideload apps! It's that easy. Took about 10 min. Couldn't have been any easier.

Just got off phone . Tech support sent me to Data Support. DS tried doing it himself but didnt have access to link so he tried to get PMC but they were busy so he got online with Advance Rep Support to access it. Couldnt still buut said hes aware that if 3RD PART APP ACCESS didnt push automatically they have the GO to do it manually. Sent me to PMC and said the system is down. Now theyre trying to get a hold of htc for help overall and the wait time is so long they will call me back when they can push it. Estimated time is 30mins

Sorry guys but that's exactly how I got it. The lady in the PMC dept had to chat with a few different people to get access to the update but once she got it she pushed it right through. If they say they have no idea then ask to speak to some1 else. HTC can't do anything for u. It's through ATT tech support then Pmc dept and then Xdm file. I had my neighbor do the same exact process and he has it.

i called yesterday and the first person did not know what i was talking about so he transferred me to tech support. she didnt know what i was talking about, sent me to htc. htc stated it comes from att and to call back and get another rep. call back next rep know what i am talking about but did not have the system to push it thru to me. i am scheduled for a call back to day so that it can be resolved. so i am waiting...tapping my foot and humming...

After u get the update Google Samsung Galaxy S2 live wallpaper. The have the ocean and the windmill to download for free. Pretty awesome. Also type in HTC Thunderbolt themes. There's about 30 to download. Make sure u have Astro file manager download to open it up and install. My ph looks totally different now. Love the Windmill wallpaper.

They called back and said system was down. Itll take 24hrs minimum for another call back to access link and push it to my aria. Fail

HTC proved a little more helpful.
Dial *#*#2432546#*#*
Your dialer WILL close, you should get a notification that "check in succeeded"
Try checking for updates then.
Do this BEFORE you check for updates sinc eyou can only check once a day

They called back. The xdm tool is down today but she said she did help a guy do this yesterday for his inspire. She said i can call back tomorow to see if its up or just wait for her to call back

I was waiting with her while she chatted with a person with access for 45mins. It ended with "its down" lol. Hope u have better luck. Wish i called yesterday
