laputa gone??

It does indeed appear to be gone from the market. It's unkown if Google pulled it for some reason, or if they did it themselves. You'll have to try searching the web for more info.

Download the APK file and see if it will install.

wait...is your phone rooted?

Anyways, install on SD card - Laputa v3.0.5.apk

the APK can be installed using Astro File Manager (in the market). Might be able to install it if your phone is rooted. But from some reports, it was removed from the market due to violating terms of service, apparently because it was illegally giving free access to books that should have been paid for.

@yung - you can place it on the ROOT of your SD card, no folder needed. just use Astro File Manager to find it.

@Raver - no "unknown sources" needed. I installed it without issues.

weird. i downloaded it without any issues, and i don't have a rooted phone, nor sideloading enabled.

not sure what your doing wrong.

i put it on the momry card just as is no folder or anything then downloaded astro file then proceeded to install but it said wont install out of market.... i noticed u were in the other post about the sideloading mms not working thread... could u have downloaded it when u were doing that

Nope. i did a hard reset of my phone when MMS broke for me.

Ok so after numerous calls to at&t i finally got them to push me the unknown sources... so i installed laputa and now every time i try to download a book it fails

I've noted Laputa Pro causes the book text to overlap, making it unreadable. This started once I got the ICS update. I've tried resizing the font, changing the font face, but no joy.

Moon+ Reader is working, however.

It may not have been updated for ICS yet. Try contacting the developer.
