My facebook app on my phone is absolutely sucking my battery. It seems that is accesing my GPS. I have turned off "access my location". Any help would be great!

Also go into the Facebook app
Go into the App Settings on the bottom of the panel
Turn off the auto refresh and stuff like that.

I second Greenify. Just to prevent wakelocks I constantly put everything I don't need to stay running when minimized in it.

Heyy SactoKingsFan is the greenify app in the google play store and is it free

Hey guys, I had battery problems in the past and took some steps to improve that and had much success. I typically expect 58-65 hours of use on a charge. I left for work this morning with around 70% (usually enough to last me two days). I've made two phone calls, looked at twitter and instagram once today, and I just checked the time, and saw my battery icon in orange. It's at 13% now, losing somewhere around 8-10% an hour and not on pace to get me through the day. I have no idea what I did to trigger the nose dive in batter life. It wasn't an gradual loss either. There is a distinct point where the battery started to go. I'm just baffled as to what caused that point. Any thoughts? GPS is off, WIFI is off (neither have ever been on unless I needed GPS for something). Here's a pic:
