How do I get KitKat?

I currently have an ATT G2 that is unlocked and connected with T-Mobile. Do I have to get an ATT Sim and put it into my G2 to receive the update via OTA? My phone is also rooted and has TWRP. Will that affect it also?

You can't install the OTA update if you have custom recovery.

Are you running the latest version of CM? If you are, then you already have KitKat.

I was running CM for a while but then returned to stock because the Google camera was pretty bad compared to stock. Anyways... I could unroot and return to FULL stock right? I'm trying to look for a method to go back...which method that you know of is the easiest?

Yeah, you can unroot and return to stock LG firmware. You'll have to flash the software using LG flash tool.
