I have modded my LG Phoenix (Matt's Cyanogen7 + joban kernel) without previously unlocking it from AT&T. All the various dialer unlock methods for both the Phoenix and the Optimus (since the mod is ostensibly for the p500) fail to bring up an unlock prompt. Putting it a non-AT&T SIM yields no reaction from the phone. Booting into recovery mode and doing a hard reset still leaves me booting into Cyanogen. I have another rooted LG I guess I could do a ROM backup from, but would that enable me to load the original ROM onto the device? Is there a workaround to force the unlock prompt up? Thanks for your help.
