[KERNEL][CM9][ICS] CAF-based 2.6.35 kernel for ICS-based roms

The difference is the multi touch fix. But It actually hasn't been fixed yet. He said he's gonna work on it.

Tried the 0619 kernel with multitouch fix for 1 day - battery drained really fast, went from 100% to 30% with little usage. Battery log showed screen taking up 75% of all power consumption, which is very suspicious since >95% time the screen was off.

Switched back to the 0614 kernel for the time being.

Can someone post the first kernel. I want to try the wifi fix

Just to clarify what exactly will this new release have that the past ones don't ? Im using one of his kernels and I dont see any issue aside from a little lag when I push a button after its been sitting idle for a bit.

I've noticed this lag, as well as system hanging after dragging to unlock from lockscreen, although this is worse when the battery is low and more apps have been installed. Anyone else noticed this?

Addendum:
I figured out the lockscreen lag issue. I was using a custom background for lockscreen on my sd card that was about 2.7 mb. When I set the lockscreen to default wallpaper, it worked fine. When I shrunk the custom image down and placed it in my /system folder, there was only a brief hiccup. I think just using the custom image for lockscreen is what causes the slowdown/hangup

LG Thrive limping along with custom CM9 4.0.4

I've noticed that too have to remove battery to fix it. And text messages don't always sound when they are received

I've had this too, and I found the solution, in my case at least. I had put ".nomedia" files in all my ringtone and notification folders so that they wouldn't show up in the music player. Turns out, this hides it from the system when selecting notifications and ringtones as well. So if that's what you did, whatever you tone you had selected is no longer available so it defaults to a silent alert. Once I deleted the .nomedia file and restarted, gave it some time, all the tones eventually came back.

As for the screen hang up, it's usually only a few seconds. The worst that will happen is the screen will turn off again, only to have me press the hard key again. But I've never completely frozen, running p500 6-21 nightly and 6-14 kernel

Didn't an to give you thanks lol. And he had the flu. He's gonna release the multi touch kernel tomorrow, along with other non important things. This is for ics as it's the only kernel that's building correctly. As for cm7, he's still getting errors. More to come.
