I have AmonRa 3.0.6 running on my P506.

Does anyone know the graphics fix for recoveries?

I don't. But from all that I've researched and tried to play with. Per this phone.
I think it to be display drivers. More specific the kernel in most recoveries are from a different phone. More than likely the optimus one.
Other than utkantos and Arjen building a cwm for our phone we are not yet official supported. But I'm sure you know most of this.
Now I don't know how to do the dev stuff but I understand and know a bit.

I've been looking into the two. I put Utkantos in a flashable zip.. but I can't figure out what makes the graphics go...

You can get on IRC and talk with utkanos he has a channel on freenode ironically call #utkanos he is very helpful and Im sure will give you any info he can.

And compile with a kernel that solves the graphics issue makes the recovery too big. won't install.

Hmm, will take a look at it as soon as I get up again, couldn't sleep, but starting to get tired now. So i hope I can get 3 hours of sleep before I need to get up.
