Froyo 2.2.1 rooted. everytime I turn on phone can't see nothing even the lg logo utill lock screen pop up everything seem to working fine expect black screen when I try to turn off stuck on rethink possible black screen also cwm I'm scared flashing cwm through rom manager what if I still have some issues I don't know if this rom or kernal I just wanted to fix my phone I doesn't want to lose it I was thinking about install cwm and rom cm7 then I stop my self please need correct advice what I do now help me

If you don't want to use ROM Manager to flash CWM try my tool, WinFastboot. There is a thread in this forum for WinFastboot.

You should update to the latest Official (LG Phoenix) ROM: 2.3.4

I think I should try to update official and see. the problem is during updates I'm not able to see nothing just black so I don't know whats going on but I'm still going to try and see what happens anyway thank you I let you when update it

Don't worry, it´s normal... The process takes 10 minutes...

1) Install latest LG Drivers
2) Install latest LG Tool
3) Drink a beer while Update the cellphone

okay today when i'm going to update 2.3.4 during checking sw/version software update in not supported for this model....... i don,t know what to do

i 've update my other phoenix which was not rooted and runing before 2.2.2 update to official 2.3.4 went well working just fine but i had problem with my old phoenix which has 2.2.1 rooted during checking s/w version error i'm receiving software update in not supported for this model,i don,t know whats going wrong ... if phone is rooted can i still update to official? what i do now i'm confused

Unfortunately LG WILL NEVER release any updates for our Thrives!!!
