Help again - are these normal system stats?
I found one thread on this that didn't really help me at all. I'm brand new to android and have only had my g2 for a day and a half now. Under battery use it says "android system" is 34%, cell standby is 18, and wifi is 18, with the lowest being android OS at 2%. After 6 hours of use its at 57% battery right now, this is after having used it a decent amount my first day and with wifi on constantly. Is all this normal?
What is the difference between Android OS and Android System? What is "system"? - 01-21-2011, 06:53 AM #2
It will help you by letting your battery fully charge, then fully discharge a few times. This is supposed to calibrate the battery, though how effective it can be is up for debate. Those stats are pretty normal, 12-16 hours is about the max you can squeeze from a smartphone these days.
System and OS are just basic descriptions that can mean alot of different things. I think both deal with background apps or running processes.
