Question Sms Question for the g2

I was wondering if any one knows any really good free apps that will let me customize mp3 ringtones for each individual persons text messages. I have only found ringo but ringo only lets me use the the G2 basic ringtones. If you know of an app that does this but isnt free please let me know... Thanks in advanced.

Not sure if this is what you are after, but I use Handcent's SMS app, and that allows you to use any mp3 or other sounds files on your phone for each contact, as well as change the fonts for incoming and outgoing text for each contact.

HandCent would do it too, but I'm glad you figured it out.

For future reference, if you want to try out HandCent, go into a text thread that already exists (don't send a new text to somebody, you have to open an existing one). In the top right corner, there's an icon which looks like a "Buddy" and a settings icon. Click that and you can personalize notifications and bubble settings.

Then to customize a ringtone, go to their contact card > menu > options > ringtone

That's weird, it should work. It probably shouldn't even need DoubleTwist... (I just told you to use it because it often sends my music into my phone-headset before pausing it, so I know it works)

When your headset is connected to Bluetooth, go into the Bluetooth Settings (Home Screen > Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth Settings). Under "Bluetooth devices" should be your headphones. What does it say immediately under the name of those headphones?

If it is a2dp then any audio will be pushed through Bluetooth from your android phone. Have you even connected your bluetooth device?

Yes my bluetooth is paired and connected. I have tried several different music players and none seem to work.

What is your device? I have the Backbeat 903+ and they work flawlessly. When connected it automatically recognizes that it is a2dp and says phone and audio under settings

What I am trying to connect is my stereo blueetooth to my phone so I can play music through it the bluetooth is a stereo bluettoth and I have heard a lot of people listening to music through their bluetooth but I can't figure out why mine doesn't do it. The only time my phone plays music through my bluetooth is when I am on the phone. I am a little confused about what information u r asking me for though.
