Using G2x with JoikuSpot Premium

I travel internationally a fair amount, which is why I went out and purchased the G2x...so that I could take advantage of the WiFi Calling. My European phone is a Nokia, and I've used JoikuSpot Light for my laptop, which works GREAT! However, my G2x won't recognize it as a WiFi hotspot. Would purchasing the JoikuSpot Premium cure that problem? Does anyone know? If paying the less than $15.00 would allow me to use my G2x to make WiFi calls, than it's well worth the cost! I use Connectify for Windows 7 myself. It comes in both free (has a google ad and no autodetect) and pro (autodetect and no google ad, but costs $29.99 (currently discounted to $19.99 with a coupon code). It works, plain and simple.
