No sound with HDMI to front projector?

so i'm hooking the G2x directly to front projector thru this adapter h ttp://amazon.com/gp/product/B004C4SHQY [Amazon.com 0.5FT 34AWG High Speed w/ Ethernet Micro-HDMI Male (Type D) to HDMI Female (Type A) Adapter Cable], not thru AV receiver because well for one my receiver doesn't have HDMI

as for videos, played that preloaded Gallery video about Tegra CPU and gaming and the Crackle app (BTW, what resolutions are Crackle videos? my projector is 720p)...how do i get sound playing on the phone (it gets sound when the projector is not hooked up)?
