I really like my G2x. Haven't had any issues at all. So, does this mean no more updates or just that they will not manufacture?

    Thanks

If I had the money I'd buy something else. LG really dropped the ball on the G2X and I know I'm not the only one that won't buy anything from them again.

It means that you still won't get ICS from anyone but the Devs.

Just got this phone 2 months ago only to find out this. What a bummer and I really like this phone too. It just doesn't make any sense to kill a phone so quickly. Now unless I come out of pocket I'm stuck with this for at least another 20 months which blows. Only hope I have now is that devs will keep this bad boy alive.

Loving my Nexus devices. Do believe I will remain a nexus owner for quite some time.

Most phone makers and computers usually EOL at around 8 to 12 months. The Tech just changes so fast. The warranty is still good for 12 months from the purchase date even if it is ELOed. There is still the possibility of an update from LG. Would not expect one from T-Mobile since they would have to pay for it on a per phone base.
