G2x randomly becomes laggy?
I came to the g2x about 2 months ago after owning a g2 for a long time.
Usually the g2x is very fast but sometimes I notice it becoming incredibly laggy. I've seen this happen when switching between home screens, opening my app drawer, typing, pretty much while doing anything. My only real solution is to reboot. This happens occasionally like one a week or so.
Does anyone else notice this issue? - 02-22-2012, 11:57 PM #2

Re: G2x randomly becomes laggy?
This started lately with my device were it was laggy most of the time. I gave up on lg and Tmo waiting for ICS or even just an update patch that would alleviate this random reboot and lag issue that has been happening out of nowhere. So junked the pos and got an unlocked gnex straight from google. Will never have to wait on carrier or manufacturer again for updates. Forget that. LG never again.

Re: G2x randomly becomes laggy?
It would not have made a difference for me as I had a defective device since day one.. Mine was never a to connect to the server to look for and download updates seeing I would always get an "authentication error "every time I would hit it to look for updates.. So I would have been still sol when that update would have been pushed out.. I gave up on the g2x a while ago. It's a shame it took tmo and lg almost a year to put out software to make the phone run smoothly.

Re: G2x randomly becomes laggy?
I have used the new updated rom. It seems to manifest the slow down problem with WiFi calling enabled. If I keep wifi calling enable, after about 48 hours or so, the wifi calling apps would seem to male function. Either it has problem calling or when I pick up the phone it would seem to leave in endless vibration mode. I am testing it without WiFi calling to see if all my problem resides with WiFi calling.
