I can confirm that Costco will carry it. I fondled the dummy of the G2x at my local Costco on Saturday. Don't know pricing yet, but I'm pretty sure the pricing will be $199, maybe a little lower if we're lucky.
Then you get all the other perks of buying from Costco, so I'm for sure buying it there. - 04-19-2011, 10:27 PM

Costco usually gives free cases and a car charger if you get a phone with them(at least the one I go to). I also have a buddy who does the cell phone sales there. He said that you get 90 days to trade in your phone too. For example, if I get the G2x, I could return it for the HTC Sensation if it comes out within 90 days.

They said that they were hoping to sell it today. There might be a delay of a day, but I'm also hoping that they have it today as i'm planning on picking it up after work today.
They give you a case, a car charger, and a BT headset usually. They also waive the activation fee and the phones are usually discounted.
The guy at my Costco said I have 14 days to return everything, service, phone and all. He mentioned 90 days, but was not too clear on what that was for. In fact...I don't think i'm going to go back to him, I'll hit up a different Costco. - 04-20-2011, 10:51 AM #8
So just wanted to share: I printed out a copy of the Cellhub G2X page showing the price of $49.99, walked to the T-Mobile kiosk at my mall, showed it to him and asked if they would price match. He said "Sure"! So I am now the proud owner of a new G2X - total cost $49.99 + tax.
I know that other stores have better return policies and all, but if you're not close to any stores or too impatient to wait (me!), this is a good option. - 04-20-2011, 11:50 AM #9

I think $150 is pretty good too given all the reasons you stated. I'm going to check it out in person after work and see how good it is.

Yes, went to Costco and paid $199.99 for the phone. I have the $50 MIR that I will send in later. Got the free Car Charger and Bluetooth Ear Piece that they throw in as well.
All in all, I'm happy with it. I was doing an upgrade, so for $149.99 after MIR I'm satisfied.
(and I absolutely love this phone!!! - upgraded from the G1) - 04-20-2011, 03:22 PM #15

Got my G2x for $150 with no MIR (I'm a new Tmo customer) Love the phone so far, going to android from iPhone is so liberating, i'm customizing everything. It's great.
What's not so great is the service so far, I get basically no signal in my basement where I am a lot when i'm watching TV, on the computer or working. This could be a dealbreaker and disappointing. The WiFi calling is great, I just wish it was incoming too... - 04-21-2011, 12:32 AM #21

Question to those whom made your G2x purchase at Costco:
Once in Costco did the Tmobile rep verify you were an actual member, or could he/she care less? I'm not a member currently, however my room mate is; only I would be getting a new plan though. TIA.nexus|s goodness since 04-27-11

I had to go up to the register in front, show my card, and actually pay for the phone. Then a Costco rep physically brought the phone back to the cell kiosk with me and we worked out the contractual stuff. So, yes the membership is a key component to actually completing the transaction.
