I am a real newbie here... been using an iPhone for a long time on tmo, thought maybe I would check out an Android.
I am trying to like it, but I am having a hard time getting over my infatuation with the iPhone. Some things are really cool- like streaming music via bluetooth. So I am trying to fix up my new phone like I like.
I originally had a Galaxy 4G, which I returned because it had horrible GPS. One thing I like about it was how when you pulled down the notifications slider from the top, across the top it has little icons to toggel WiFi, BT GPS all on or off. Sort of like the widget in the G2X. How can I get it in the pull down menu like in the Galaxy?
I added Launcher Pro, which says I can have up to 7 screens. I only have 3, and cannot figger out how to add more... can someone enlighten me?
Regarding the 3G radio... and the two missing freqs... how big a prob is this? I am not sure what this means... I am guessing if I get good 4G, I get that.... but if that slips, I have to get TMo 3G ONLY or, failing that, I will get ATT 2G Edge? How serious is this? How will this effect my European travels? Europe runs on the ATT 3G net freqs, right? Is 4G ubiquitous for all nets, or are things all split up like 3G?
I have noticed (in all 2 pictures I have taken !) that the flash overexposes faces, even at a reasonable distance. Any fix?
How soon on 2.3 gingerbread?
Finally, what advise would you give a newbie? What would you tell a transfer-er from iPhone to do to maker the transition easier?
Thanks for helping me out!
