g2x 3G issues?

Does the Tmobile G2x supports 3G in india? As the phone has 2100/1700mhz AWS 3G bands.... is the g2x a world phone? meaning, will it work on every carrier that supports 2100mhz 3g band?
in india, the 3g bands are: 850/1900/2100.. So will i be able to access 3g on the unlocked g2x?

I think you would want to get the o2x.

The G2X is set from Tmo to only use Tmo radio bands. Off the top of my head I can't remember specifically what those are.
