Default Not really out of stock

I just did an upgrade and ordered the G2x, which is supposedly out of stock, but got my shipping confirmation that it will be here tomorrow. So if T-Mobile actually does have them, why are they holding them back from everyone except upgraders?

too many reported issues. They are waiting to get a software update that would fix most/all of the issues before they start selling again. Not sure why they would let you get one though

Well, I got it today. The strange thing is it didn't come in the normal G2x box. It came in a plain small box with no writing on it. So far I'm loving it except for some reason my apps don't show up in the marketplace so I'm having to figure out what I had and search for them. I sure am going to miss the neoprene case for my N1.

Sounds like you got yourself a referb. I know that Tmobile is still shipping warranty replacements (which are generally referbs). As a rule I actually like referbs better because they are put through a rigorous testing procedure. I know because I work for a Verizon referb company so I know the steps they go through.

Read a few of the threads and you'll see what some of them are. Some are just annoying while others are downright frustrating.

Shutting down without notice. Email signature bug. Random reboots. Those are the big ones.

If I restore the stock froyo it came with, I'll have almost constant reboots, as bad as every 20 minutes. With either Bionix2 or Eaglesblood GB 1.0.4 I don't have that problem.

I'm considering loading up the RC1 of Cyanogen 7.1 to see how that works, but I'm having such good luck with EB right now, I don't want to go thru the hassle.

My friend has the G2x, and same thing . . . no issues. That's why I asked. But on a different note, is there truth to the story that T-Mobile is sending HTC Sensations out as warrenty replacements for the G2x?!?!
