Seeing how the galaxy s3 was the flagship phone and they blocked access. I'm almost a 100% sure they'll block Google Wallet on the note 2 too

Yep it's blocked. Google Wallet will not install on the T-Mobile Note 2. I bought mine yesterday.

Maybe rooting and installing it the same way as the Galaxy S3?

Google wallet installed on my GNote2 but then got a popup saying it wasnt available. I just tried on my rooted S2 and still not available. Been with Tmobile almost 8 years and I am so frustrated, about to switch carriers. Getting a replacement note2 tomorrow and will decide then.
