Camera Horizontal Lines

My Note 2 rear camera is showing evenly spaced thin horizontal lines from the top to bottom of the screen. I've tried 3rd party apps, and they exhibit the same problem. The front-facing camera is also completely fine. What are some possible causes for the lines? And any possible solutions? Thanks.

I've also attached 2 pictures with the lines. One is at normal zoom, and the other is at 4x.

No idea what's causing that but have you tried leaving the phone off for a bit then powering up and immediately taking a picture? That would rule out issues caused by heat. If it was me and I was still under warranty that thing would be getting replaced.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just tried your suggestion and left the phone off for a few hours, but the issue still persists. Im currently traveling, so I was hoping to resolve the issue without resorting to the warranty
