Something's going to happen on November 15, 2012

Or maybe, nothing is going to happen on November 15,2012. At least according to my calendar.

I have tried 3 different android devices and none of them will sync my calendar past November 15, 2012. If I add a calendar event on my Samsung Galaxy s 4G (t-mo), it will appear on my google calendar on my laptop but if I add a calendar event on my laptop for anytime after November 15, 2012 it will not appear on my android device. Anything before that date works fine.

Any ideas?

I am a brand new android user. Came over from Blackberry this week.

Please help!

Thats pretty weird. It lets me create events past that date on my phone. Maybe its an issue with your gmail account. Try a different one

Do you have a lot of calendar items in your calendar? I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fact that I load up my calendar. I must have around a thousand to fifteen hundred items in there.

I will try another google calendar tomorrow. No time today.

Anyone else having a similar problem?

I dont have many events. Just birthdays of friends and family and the occasional soccer games and what not. Probably about 100 total. And a thousand!? Lol maybe that's why

I use my calendar like a day planner and a to-do list. Today's date has 42 items in it.

I thought that Android wasn't supposed to have limitations?

It just seems like a limitation of the android calendar app. Try a 3rd party calendar

Third party calendar is the same. I tried Business Calendar Free by Appgenix. I'm pretty sure that third party calendars are basically just skins that use the same data that comes from the android calendar. I think my problem is a sync and/or data management problem.

I have tried everything I can think of to rectify this and am still in the same situation. It won't sync past November 15, 2012. Ooooh...maybe it's the end of the world. The Mayan calendar must be a bit off.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I'm starting to think that it's the amount of data that I have in there. The part that makes me really wonder is that even though days go by, it still won't sync past Nov 15, 2012. I would've thought that every day or so it would sync an extra day further (sync to Nov 18 by now).

Anyone else?
