Rooted my galaxy s 4G. Tried installing custom ROM. It didn't work. I lost half my apps including Android Market. I found and update,downloaded to my PC and transferred to my phone but it wont open, just flashes a white screen. HELP!!!!!!!

Have you tried returning to stock with Odin? You may have just downloaded a bad file which caused the bad flash.

Thanks that worked and i found out what my problem was. I restarted in reboot mode not download mode. For my Galaxy s 4g i had to hold down vol up down then plug in the usb to enter download mode. i will try to root again next week.....NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!!
