"MUSIC" File on Android gone, did not delete by accident

I am a music junky, and am too cheap to buy an IPod, so the "MUSIC" file on my phone is essential for me to live. I used up on the space in my USB drive, so I deleted all the data(manually inside the phone) so I could add more songs. When I plugged my phone back into the computer, my "MUSIC" file had disappeared. I searched my computer for it and can't find it. I would love some help, or even a number for my to call Samsung for advice. Please and Thank You!
