Update 4.0.4 for SGS2?

So just saw that Samsung is pushing 4.0.4 for SGS2 through Kies. Any heard or have any ideas what this update will include?

I think we are skipping 4.0.4 update and going straight to Jellybean 4.1.1 update on october and september

I got the update on the 29th via kies. 4.0.4 runs much better then 4.0.3. This has been a needed update since .3. This update also paves the way for jelly bean, I'm sure we won't see jelly bean for a few months so this update will hold us over till then.

It removes Universal search. Also, I can't seem to save shortcuts on the camera. Anyone having similar issues? Universal search removal is confirmed, though. Big article on tmonews.

How do I update my t989? Currently has Gingerbread, T-mobile rep advised me to go to this site and update to "Icecream"??? I have not been able to find out exactly how to do this . . . help PLEASE!

You need to download the Kies software from Samsung. It's bloated and slow as sh!t but it will allow you to upgrade. Doesn't look like TMo is pushing it out OTA. Also make sure it's upgrading you to 4.0.4. When I did the upgrade to 4.0.3 it seriously screwed up my phone's performance requiring me to wipe and try a new rom. The reports on 4.0.4 are better.

Youtube techfanatic9. He has videos how to OFFICIALY update. No bs it's the official stock rom. I currently have it. It has bloat just like any other stock rom. I freeze all bloat apps though with Titanium. 4.0.4 is not stable enough to use as a daily. And JB isn't thaaaat good. Again JB isn't as official as ICS 4.0.3
