I would get the blue one because of what they said about the white one causing difficulties seeing the screen when outside

I would get the white one because it looks cleaner and less tacky. The shiny blue metallic one probably has its own sunlight legibility issues since it is, ya know, shiny. My favorite color is blue though so its hard to say. The blue one seems harder to gauge online since the pictures vary so much depending on the lighting.

I owned a white phone once, many moons ago, and I'm positive through technology advancements things have improved, the dirt that phone showed was terrible.

Who am i kidding, it's still happening to white flagship phones launched within the past month or 2.

Before you say "but thats an HTC", remember that although the exterior finish or treatment of each is different, they are made structurally from the same polycarbonate material.

That's why its hyperglazed. That's why they put a thick amount of gloss on all white phones. The Lumia 900 white has a nice and thick gloss over it, as opposed to the non-gloss black and blue ones. Haven't seen any weirdness with the other white phones either. The One X is soft polycarbonate and both the gray and white are inherently dirt prone, regardless of color. If you wear it down enough, it actually gets shinier, and greasy looking. The regular shiny white plastic or glossy white plastic should have no issues at all, and very easily wiped.
