I think he means his code to get past the lock screen. But I may be wrong.

If you ARE talking about the lock screen password.

What kind of security have you set?

Pattern, PIN, Password, Face Detection?

I may not be able to help you, a brief read through this thread or post shows a few ways you can try to unlock your phone.

Although it does seem weird that you have forgotten your security code. I mean if you set a pattern security then there is also a backup pin number. Probably the same with face detection. The fact that you only have 3 posts all in this thread is suspicious, but I'm a paranoid person.

If u know your gmail pass. Just enter the wrong pin several times. And it should give u an option to logging to gmail account. Then u can change the pin

I had the same problem today. Don't listen to the ones saying HARD RESET. All you need is your Samsung Account (the account that you create when setting up your phone for the very first time). Go to and enter your Samsung Account email and password. In the opened page, select "Unlock Lock Screen". When doing these steps your phone should be connected to internet, or else your choices would be applied when you connect your phone to internet. After clicking "Unlock Lock Screen" check your phone. The screen must be unlocked. Touch the "set screen lock" in task bar and set a new screen lock. That's all, it worked for me

samsung dive doesnt work with the us galaxy s3. we dont have the option for remote control in our settings.

Where can you find the "Unlock lock screen"? I couldn't find it on the homepage or anywhere else

You have to have "X" number of failed attempts then the phone will ask you to put in your Google account information to unlock the phone.
