Text Message Mixing

Hello all,
I've had my GS3 for well over a month now and everything has run smoothly up until today. When receiving a new text message from someone, the new text will have a piece of an old text message at the end of it. That old text message would be from a few days ago, which made for a very confusing conversation. I scanned my phone with Lookout and it was clean. I did a restart and cleared all text threads, and the problem disappeared. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't know if its a problem with the text message limit or maybe something carrier related?

Never seen that before... Are u using the stock messaging app?

Yeah, I'm using the stock SMS app, the only thing not stock about my SMS is my keyboard, which is SwiftKey, but that definitely would have no bearing on the problem.
