Have you checked the vibration intensity? That was altered on my Verizon s3 after our latest update. Specifically the haptic feedback. I know the updates are different but thought that may be helpful.

I had that happen with mine when I did the update. Is it just with your text messages? If that's the case, you have to go into your inbox, hit menu and then settings. Then under notification settings I found that my vibrate setting had been unchecked. That should fix it!
