Does the S 3 work as a wifi hotspot

Root is the way but I'm not familiar with it.

I've used foxfi on my s3 without rooting. It works and is one reason I've got no 4g service on my tablet

Just got the deal by switching to tmo from Sprint. Awesome phone so far. Hope foxfi or something else works.
