Re: Samsung Galaxy S3 T-Mobile Version (Unlocked)
um..if the carriers in India are GSM then it should work at least for minimum use. Although everything may not operate smoothly. You should check which carrier your going to be using, what kind of bands and technology they use.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3 T-Mobile Version (Unlocked)
The do operate on 900Mhz and 1800Mhz bands, which I saw S3 supports. T-Mobile version supports 850, AWS (Band IV), 1,900, 2,100 MHz
UMTS / HSPA+ / DC-HSPA+ for 3G and 850, 900, 1,800, 1,900 MHz
GSM / GPRS / EDGE for 2Gs, 4G depends on market.
Does the Model number of matter in any ways? I mean international version and T-Mobile version? - 11-27-2012, 10:16 AM #4
Re: Samsung Galaxy S3 T-Mobile Version (Unlocked)
No model number will not matter. The model numbers are there to differentiate the same phones from each carrier. For example my brother's S II is a T989 while the S3 is T999. They began with different model numbers so they basically have to stick with it.
