Suddenly a voice tells me when I've received a new email! I cannot find where this feature is located and how to turn it off. HELP!

You probably turned on "Driving Mode".

Drag down the bar at the top of the phone, and see if "Driving Mode" is turned on.

It could be a couple of things. If you use S-Voice and have voice commands turned on that's one way of getting the voice. If your phone is in driving mode, that's another. And lastly if the first two don't work try going to Acessability Settings and disable Talk back.
