I updated my SGH-T999 (T-Mobile Galaxy S3) to StockMOD ROM T999 4.3. I noticed that it is based on an AT&T version, so it has the AT&T bloatware.
Has anyone found a way to add some of the T-Mobile features back into the phone (primarily Wi-Fi Calling)? I have tried restoring the Wi-Fi calling app/data using Titanium Backup Pro, with no success. So I am guessing it is dependent on libraries in the T-Mobile version of the ROM.
Normally I would not care about T-Mobile's bloatware, but I will use free Wi-Fi calling to call back to the USA when travelling.
Temporarily, I had downloaded GrooveIP to work with Google Voice for this feature - but Google Voice will be disabling this feature on 5/15/2014,
An installation package for T-Mobile's Wi-Fi calling, with the support libraries would be great, or a version of StockMOD ROM T999 (or SlmMOD ROM T999) that includes the T-Mobile app.
Thanks.
