I just got it; way more solid than the Galaxy S II. A bit thicker though. The camera is amazing, shutter is quicker than the iPhone 4S's. My microsd card isn't working with it though and its frustrating..

If it has a 3g/4G toggle switch it would only be to turn off 3G and go onto EDGE. T-mobile's '4G' isn't real 4G (and isn't a separate network like Verizons) so if you turn off 4G you'll only be left with 2G.

Speaker is noticeably louder than an iPhone's, the call quality is clear so far judging by the few calls I made today. And there's no 4G toggle, I only see a mobile network switch under quick settings.

I picked up the phone today. I'm extremely impressed by it, namely its build quality. It's so solid. Also, the screen is gorgeous and even though it's the same res as the Sensation, it looks better than the Sensation's. Reception is great, no problems there. I popped my 32 GB MicroSD card in it with no trouble and loaded up all my music in an instant. Netflix streaming is great. It only has one speaker and honestly, it's not any better than the Sensation's, but whatever. I love it so far.

That's because as stated above sprint like verizon runs a different network for 3G & 4G

You do realize that the Beats Audio enhancements are strictly through the earbuds, right? The speaker remains untouched.

I got it as a birthday gift two days ago and I'm in love! It's an awesome phone! The camera is amazing! The screen resolution is crystal clear! The speed is awesome! I have the white one, its ultra trendy, sleek and just an overall sexy phone, in my opinion. Anyone whos thinking about purchasing this phone, I highly recommend getting it.

I love this phone! Picked it up Wednesday. Great build, great quality! A few problems though. I find that the camera button tends to get stuck under the casing, you have to take the backing off and push it back into place. It doesn't happen all the time but it could be a problem later on. The other problem I have is, my MicroSD card slot isn't working properly. I've tried a few different MicroSD cards from my G2 and Nexus 1 on the Amaze and it doesn't work, says Damaged SD Card or Removed SD Card when inserted. Formatted the cards and everything. Bringing it back today to get a replacement, hopefully it's a faulty card slot on that one phone!

Hmm, my camera button is perfectly fine. Maybe you have a faulty unit.

Got mine yesterday and have had bizarre issues during setup: after entering my google account and Microsoft exchange account info, the phone crashed and went to a black screen, completely powered off. I couldn't turn it back on, and the charging light wouldn't come on when plugged in. I pulled the battery and same thing. I thought it was dead. I let it sit for 5 minutes and tried again, and then it powered on! I added my Facebook account info and it crashed again!! Same thing, wouldn't power on, even after a battery pull, but waited 5 minutes and then it did.

So I did a full factory reset, then added my google info during the setup, then my Exchange, went to Mail next and then it crashed again This time even after the battery pull and waiting 5 minutes, then 10, then 15, it wouldn't come back on at all. (Note the battery was fully charged before I started all of this).

It was late so I gave up and went to bed. This morning for grins I tried turning it on, and of course it powered right up. I immediatly went to the voicemail nag notification and setup up my voicemail. So far the phone hasn't crashed again, (4 hours later) but I've been busy and haven't really done anything with it. I'm going to try and add my Facebook, twitter and yahoo email info now and see what happens. Fingers crossed.

Also, the capacitive buttons rarely, if ever, light up. Is there a setting for this somewhere? I'm starting to think my Amaze has a hardware defect (or two).

Lol. Obviously your unit has some kind of defect. Go ahead and exchange it. It should never crash and the capacitive buttons should almost always be on during use.

So the capacitive buttons on my Amaze only light up in the dark! It's using the light sensor to determine if they should light up or not. I tested this by walking in and out of a room with the lights on, the buttons light up in the dark and go off in the light. Putting my hand over the top where the sensors are too does it. I had no idea this phone does that (My EVO 4G and EVO 3D don't, they're always on).

Again, anyone know if this can be turned off (so the buttons are always on)? Battery saver function maybe?

Are any of you switching from a 21 HSPA+ phone to this one (42 HSPA+)? I'm curious if there is a noticeable speed difference between the two in real-world usage.

Got mine yesterday, I love it. Like most smart phones, the battery life is not so good. Have some chargers around.

Just received mine, this phone is the best phone I ever had and I have them all. I sent my Galaxy S2 packing yesterday, The Amaze IMO has it all over the SGS2. The Amaze is the best built hardware I have held, this thing is a freaken beast. I tell anyone who enjoys quality, this has it all and is done right. Hands down better then the T-Mobile SGS2. I like the European version of the SGS2 much better then all the others but the only problem it is on the worst Carrier AT&T.

Was leaning heavily towards Amaze over GSII until I read multiple reviews about battery issues now all of these other comments amout SD card issues, the reboot issue, etc. have me wondering if I should change my mind.

Every new device has some issues, there isnt a perfect one. You should probably try out both to make your decision. Since you asked this twice in different threads. The battery isnt an issue. You cant make a determination about how the battery life is until you've given it time to condition and recycle a few times. And you're never going to get 2-3 full days from it without recharging. I cant comment on the reboot or S/D card issues. You have a 14 day remorse window, try out both for yourself and see. Also, on the QHD displays be sure to check for dead pixels. To get a good idea on which one is best for you, try watching a netflix video on both and see which one you like best. Its also a good way to check for dead pixels too.

Thanks for the feedback. I certainly don't expect 2-3 days. I always charge my phone at night so I just want to get through the day. I'm also not overly concerned with the display - I'm sure any of these are better than my Curve 8900 My primary uses are email, text, phone calls (seems to be low on the list of phone uses these days , web browsing, twitter, calendar, word/excel docs, and podcasts.
